I am the first to admit that I absolutely love Pinterest (follow me here), but I have a tendency to be a PIYer (pin-it-yourselfer) instead of a DIYer. I am constantly in awe of others’ creativity and their incredible ideas and yet I stare at a DIY pin and wonder if a “regular” person like me would be able to make it look that good? This spirals into how much will it cost? Do I have the right equipment? Do I have enough time?…. Any of this sound familiar?
If so, She Tried What’s new review series is perfect for you! I’m calling it PIY to DIY! With each post, I will try out a new Pinterest DIY pin and share all the details: how much it cost, what products I used, how much time it took, any challenges I ran into, and the final result. I will even proudly post my worst Pinterest fails for you all to see. That way, you can decide if it’s worth your time and money before you are covered in hot glue gun & glitter.
If you decide to try it for yourself, please send me photos, and I will post them. I would also love to feature some guest posts of pins that She Tried What readers have tested themselves, so contact me if you are interested!
I’m so excited for this series! It’s time to put the “do” back in DIY!
