Regardless of whether you are a new or seasoned blogger, there is something for you on this list of free blog resources. Some are quite popular but some I had never heard of and discovered through this incredible website: NoCode.tech
I want to say a huge THANK YOU to all the sites listed on this page! It really is because of sites like these that I felt like creating this blog on my own was possible. It really is such an amazing thing to be willing to share your creativity and give others a helping hand in the process.
Stock Videos
I discovered both of these awesome free stock video resources through NoCode.tech and was blown away. I can’t wait to use them in posts and video editing.
Mazwai
The first stock video site I fell in love with is Mazwai. All videos are completely free to download and edit as you would like; the only requirement is that you credit the creator. The videos on here are amazing HD quality and downright gorgeous — I am especially obsessed with the drone and time lapse nature footage. They are so artsy and creative. I found so much inspiration just watching them. Check out a sample of incredible drone footage below by DiziFilms:

DiziFilms has incredible clients like CBS, Ford, and Red Bull and you get to use their footage for free! Incredible, right?
The main downside to Mazwai is that there is no user-friendly search function to sort the videos. Currently, this is not a huge deal because it’s a fairly manageable library. But, I can hardly complain about anything given it is a free resource with such stunning work!
Videvo
Videvo is the next stock video site that I immediately bookmarked. It is much different than Mazwai in that it mostly has shorter clips that you can easily use for editing.
One watch out when you are browsing: the three clips at the top of the page are sponsored by Shutterstock and not free, but all the rest are so don’t be fooled. Some of the videos are in .mov format, which is not compatible with WordPress, but here is a great resource to convert them to .mp4.
Stock Photos
While these first few a fairly well known, the last one I just discovered. There are tons of stock photo resources, but these are my favorites:
Unsplash
As Unsplash describes it, they feature “free (do whatever you want) high-resolution photos.” And man, do they deliver! Their photos are absolutely gorgeous. The only downside is they don’t have as wide of a selection of some of the others. They do release 10 new photos every 10 days so stay on the look out!
They are especially great for landscapes, food photos, minimalism, and just generally more artsy photos. Just be careful, it is super easy to get sucked in looking through them all. I went on to pull some photos for this post and had to tear myself away.
Stocksnap.io
This is one of my favorites if I am looking for a photo for a specific purpose for my blog because they have a really huge selection and a very effective search engine. They have pictures for just about every keyword you can come up with and you can find them quickly. Plus, they track which photos are more popular, so that is a quick way to find the best selection.
Picjumbo
Picjumbo is another stock photo site I use when looking for photos for my blog. Practical and focused is how I would describe it. Their selection is not huge, but they are very useful photos that are still done well. If I can’t find something on Stocksnap.io, I usually go to Picjumbo and between the two I will definitely find it.
Kaboompics
Kaboom pics also has a great selection. It can be a bit tough to sort through them because they display only a few large photos per page, but I have certainly found some photos I really love here.
Rawpixel
Last but certainly not least, is my newest photo obsession: Rawpixel. It is kind of like the beautiful lovechild of Unsplash and Stocksnap in that it has a large library of very diverse content while also having very creative, high-quality photos.
Plus, you can quickly download any photo with one click from the browsing screen. This seems like such a simple thing, but it is a huge time saver when looking for photos!
Mockups
Mockupsjar
Don’t let the bare bones setup of this site deter you. This is a great resource to get a quick mockup of your blog’s website on a mobile device or computer. Essentially, it has a template of a phone or computer and you are able to import a screenshot of your blog into it! Cool, right? It is perfect for media kits or promotional materials. Mockupsjar will even pull the page screenshot from your blog for you! It couldn’t get any easier.
Magicmockups
This is the same concept as Mockupsjar, but they have even more templates. The downside of Magicmockups is you need to upload the screenshot that you want to use. I found that the computer shots were better on Magicmockups, whereas Mockupsjar had better phone templates.

Free Design Resources
This is such an amazing site! I continue to be blown away by people’s creativity and their willingness to share it for free. They have so many cool things from free watercolor vectors to amazing handwritten script fonts and fabulous photoshop templates. Not everything listed on this site is free, but a ton of them are!
